Whoops, forgot to post last night...actually I fell asleep.
Ran last night @ PBHS track 2 miles. (pretty cool by the time I ran 77 I think, but pretty humid and muggy...and buggy..def ate a bug or two)
-->Update on Vibrams: The shoes themselves feel great; haven't had anymore blister issues and my feet have kinda adapted to the feeling already. My calves are tight as heck; especially after the run last night...but that just tells me they're working harder then they've had to work in sneaks and that is tots fine by me.
Breakfast: none
Lunch: movie theatre popcorn :(
Dinner: Chicken (breaded/olive oil), rice, corn on the cob
Snack: Graham crackers
----------------------------------------------
Not sure if I'm gonna run today yet...for one it is pouring rain so I'd want to catch a break time to go running, and number two my calves might appreciate a little break, but I don't know if Sunday I will get a run in since I have a rabbit show in the morning to show at and then I'm judging in Sussex at night...so I should probably just make that my rest day and suck it up today...it'll be nice once I move and can get into the YMCA to work out because then when my legs are crying from running I can swim or bike instead. Alas that is only a short few days away so I should stop my blubbering now.

Cake Wednesday will be the death of me...thankfully this was the last of them forever.
Ran 2.2miles at 715 this morning. Really muggy again...but it felt better than yesterday despite the fact that the shoes are clearly doing there job as I woke up with my calves tight as hell. I have a few blisters but, I put on some bandaids and the shoes felt fine today. So yeah, the 2.2 miles weren't as painful as they could have been that is for sure.
Breakfast: none
Lunch: leftover pasta with red sauce
original applesauce
Special K bar (strawberry)
Snack: 2 chocolate chip cookies (fml cake wednesday)
sunflower seeds
original applesauce
fruit snacks
-->damn driving is horrible for me lol
Dinner: sphaghetti, red sauce, parm cheese, meatballs
Snack: chocolate chip ice cream (why oh why?)
So basically, today was a wash...definitely ate back anything I worked off...but whatever, there is always tomorrow.
fml I need to get back at least some of that psychosis that I suffered from last year. Remember when I swore off everything that tasted good and actually survived and stuck to it for 8 months? dag.

New beginnings
Alright so today was day #1.
Ran: 2.2 miles (.51 to the track, 1.0 on the track, .51 back to the apt) I wore my new Vibram 5-finger gloves for the first time and it is seemingly too early to make a decisive decision on my opinions of them, but so far so good. It was very humid this morning, 80degrees.
Breakfast: Chocolate chip pancakes, light butter, hot chocolate (went out with Aunt Kathy so I had to overindulge of course)
Lunch: Strawberry applesauce, original applesauce, Special K bar
Snack: 1/2 serving of fruit salad
Dinner: 3 homemade tacos
Not too shabby for the first day back in the groove....tomorrow's cake wednesday tho...my weakness stares me right in the face lol.

It's likely that I've said this before, but what the hell, I'll say it again...I'm gonna use this blog to kinda help keep me on track in regards to my fitness/health and such. I'm moving in a few weeks and I would really like to get back into a routine and all. I realize that after I move things might get thrown off a bit for a while, especially when school/externship/work starts up, but at least if I make the initial changes towards the routine I want to get into now it will not be like an extra stressor when all that kinda unloads on me.
Having said that...in addition to this whole getting back on the fitness wagon I really want to focus on sticking to a financial budget this upcoming year as well. I still have some good savings to get me through the year, but I would really like to have a little bit of money left over at the end of the year (May 2010), just in case I don't get hired right away, and so that I don't start my career with a negative balance bank account (which in reality I will because I will have loans to repay, but those don't kick in for several months post graduation). I wish I had been more thoughtful on this issue earlier on; not that I have spent frivolously ever really (granted I think we all have our moments or our impulsive purchases here and there), but I could certainly have lived more frugally. How does that play into the fitness blog tho? Well basically, I want to think about making a "menu" for my weeks in advance so that I can buy the groceries and I need and use the foods in my fridge and pantry rather than just throwing whatever is fast or easy together at night or in my bag for lunch. This year I spent a lot of money and calories for that matter in restaurants and while I still will allot some money and calories aside for eating out on occasion, I think at 23years old it would be a good time to broaden my cooking skills and cook more diverse meals and such. Now that I will have an actual kitchen with counter space that is certainly going to be easier and I think I will likely enjoy cooking (and the resulting eating).
But enough blabbing, I think I'll start this up tomorrow.
